Tao or Dao, Chi or Qi?
Tao is not pronounced Tayo or Toe or Tow (like cow)
It's pronounced Dow (cow with a d)
Chi is pronounced Chee
Tan is pronounced Dan
Tao, Chi and Tan are how Chinese words are spelt using the British Giles Wade system
Now the Chinese PinYin system is taking over
Tao becomes Dao,
Chi becomes Qi, Chi Kung - QiGong
Tan Tien - Dan Tien
Confused becomes bemused
So, have we got it now?
