Iron shirt Chi Kung & Primordial Chi Kung
Tao Centre Colwyn.

7pm Monday August 4thtill 5pm Thursday August 7th

Deeply, we go into the Iron Shirt structure, connecting to the earth at several sacred sites.
Plenty of bone, tendon and lumbar work.

By using certain standing postures and tendon locks, we learn how to connect the internal structures
(bones, muscles, tendons, and fasciae) with the ground so that rooting power is developed.
Through breathing techniques, internal power is directed to the organs and fasciae.

The practitioner learns the importance of being physically and psychologically rooted in the earth,
a vital factor in the more advanced stages of Taoist pr
actice.

This is an incredibly effective, empowering system of body structure and tendon power.
Essential practice for all Healers, Therapists, Meditaters, Dancers and Martial Artists
.
Equally beneficial to older people, very empowering for women.

Postures include; Embrace the Tree, Holding the Golden Urn, The Turtle, The Bufalo, Golden Pheonix Washes his Wings, The Bridge and The Iron Bar

The Sacrum and Lumbar tend to be the weakest areas of the body, they should be the strongest.
We learn a series of exercises to open and strengthen these vital parts.

We combine Iron Shirt QiGong wiith

Primordial Chi Kung sometimed known as WuJi QiGong or Enlightenment QiGong

Although no previous experience is needed for this course,
these are powerful practices which you might use for developing Chi and structure for healing or to enhance your martial arts practice.
A beginner will get immediate benefits and 'feel their chi flow' but an experienced Tai Ch practitioner will get equal benefit

These practices are taught from an advanced perspective, but simple enough so that any one can get it
