Abbey House, Glastonbury.
Abbey House was built in the 1830's and is situated in the original grounds of Glastonbury Abbey to the East of the Abbey.
With the dissolution of the Abbey by Henry VIII the grounds fell into disrepair,
have remained one property and provide an oasis of calm within the town.
Abbey House guests enjoy the privilege of access to the Abbey from the house gardens.

The house can sleep 36 people in 18 single and 9 twin bedded rooms.
Two of the twin rooms are en-suite and there are plenty of bathrooms around the house.
All rooms are on the first floor and there is a chair lift available.
Many of the rooms have stunning views of the Abbey and surrounding countryside
.
There is a small basement chapel offering the opportunity for quiet whatever the rest of the house is doing.
All meals are prepared in our kitchens and we use local produce and suppliers wherever possible.
Seasonal fruit is often fresh from the garden, and special diets can be provided on request.
